Our programs support the national initiatives of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and are built on the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.

Economic Development

Economic Development efforts are aimed at increasing financial literacy and economic empowerment within the community. Through workshops, seminars, and mentoring, we provide the tools needed for financial independence and entrepreneurship.

Political Awareness & Involvement

The goal of our Political Awareness & Involvement program is to equip our community with the knowledge and skills needed for meaningful participation in the political arena. Through activities, discussions, and educational resources, we inspire civic engagement and empower individuals to take action.

DEARS

DEARS are sorors who are sixty-two years of age and older. They share a great wealth of knowledge and history. East HCLC Delta D.E.A.R.S. are strong examples of public service, leadership, compassion and dedication. With appreciation for their many years of dedication and service to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., we honor them, embrace their awesome legacy, and recognize the shoulders upon which we stand.
